ProPublica's explosive exposé of US Tax Code (un?)Fairness

ProPublica has  received a trove of files from the Internal Revenue Service of many of the wealthiest Americans. Read and judge for yourself the 'fairness' of the United States Tax Code. Understand the US taxes income, not wealth. Understand that taxing wealth is not straight forward. The value of assets change. Some assets are more easily taxed than others. Also: what are the implications of private citizens tax records being made public? ProPublica cames these records were provided to them anonymously.

What does Sarah Cohen (Michael's daughter) think?

Intriguing interview with Michael Cohen's daughter in the September 11, 2020 edition of Vanity Fair. Painful reading a daughter’s account of how her father’s boss treated her dad, after all Michael Cohen did for Trump. The RNC has turned Facebook into the most effective Surveillance Capitalism Tool

Andrew Marantz takes an in depth look at Brad Parscale in the March 2nd, 2020 edition of the New Yorker . Parscale didn't necessarily invent any new social media tools in his subliminal digital marketing campaign on behalf of Donald Trump in 2016. He understood marketing, (social) media, and tech. The key to Parscale's success was being in the right place...at the right time...for the right price...with an open mind...willing to listen to those Silicon Valley gunslingers from Facebook and the likes (and infamously turned down by the Clinton campaign). And now Brad Parscale is back as Donald Trump's 2020 campaign manager, and he has assembled the most advanced arsenal of digital media ever assembled, and he's going to use it in the worst way possible.
